Estilhaços, chispas, pétalas is the debut album of this duo. It means “smithereens, sparks, petals" in an amalgam of Portuguese and Spanish linguistics, as it would be a collection of small sharp gemstones.

The music of the album is a series of improvisations that were recorded in one long session, where the two pianists dwelt into each others worlds, letting the music grow into a harmonious and reflective journey: I trace, I feel after, I insist, I undo, I recall, I pass through, I twinkle.
Starting from a peaceful and meditative place, the mood changes drastically and calls upon imagery of the sea harbor, ferries, tubes, flying bees, crying children...even some hints of disco music.
